Gaviscon Cool Range

Gaviscon Cool product range works in the same was as Gaviscon Original products however, you may particularly appreciate its cool mint flavour if your symptoms include a bad taste in the mouth.

Contains as active ingredients:

• Sodium alginate
• Sodium bicarbonate
• Calcium carbonate

How does it work?

• Gaviscon Cool products form a ‘raft’ over the stomach contents which helps prevent acid coming back up into the oesophagus (food pipe)
• As such it is effective at treating the classic symptoms of heartburn (a burning pain in the chest and mild acid regurgitation)

The range:

Gaviscon Cool liquid has a soothing effect, lasting for up to four hours. And because it works physically (rather than by entering the bloodstream) it is suitable for use in pregnancy.
