Gaviscon Extra Strength Range

Gaviscon Extra Strength Tablets contains double the concentration of sodium alginate compared with Gaviscon Original Tablets.

Contains:

• Sodium alginate
• Sodium bicarbonate
• Calcium carbonate

How does it work?

• Gaviscon Extra Strength forms a ‘raft’ over the stomach contents which helps prevent acid coming back up into the oesophagus (food pipe)
• As such it is effective at treating the classic symptoms of heartburn (a burning pain in the chest and mild acid regurgitation)

The range:

Gaviscon Extra Strength provides fast relief lasting up to four hours. And because it works physically (rather than by entering the bloodstream) it is suitable for use in pregnancy.
