The health and safety of our customers is of the utmost importance to us. Shoppers may notice they will no longer be able to obtain Gavilast Heartburn and Indigestion 75mg Film-Coated Tablets from pharmacies or retail stores with immediate effect.

As a precautionary measure, following enquiries by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) into the presence of N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) in medicines containing Ranitidine, Noumed Life Sciences Ltd, product license holder for Gavilast—a product supplied to us under license—is recalling all units containing Ranitidine from stores.

Customers who are currently taking Gavilast or have any questions relating to Gavilast or any Ranitidine-based treatment should seek advice from their GP, pharmacist or medical professional who will be able to advise on the most appropriate action.
